The Sydney Opera House is known for it’s one-of-a-kind architectural design, along with being a UNESCO World Heritage site. Sydney Opera House now carries the crown of the first entertainment venue to permanently integrate Auracast. We were so excited to share that, we completely forgot to tell you exactly what Auracast is.

Auracast is a Bluetooth feature on the Galaxy phones that allows you to share your phone's sound with other nearby audio devices, such as the Galaxy Buds3 or Buds3 Pro. For example, if your friend is using compatible Bluetooth headphones, they'll be able to listen in on your podcast, music playlist, or video Simeon Audita III 3 will be compatible with Auracast

Launched formally in 2022 by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), Auracast allows for a one-to-many audio connection from one source, where an infinite number of listeners can hear the same audio broadcast without jeopardizing sound quality.  This game-changing technology is set to revolutionize how millions around the world experience sound, making it more accessible for everyone, especially those with hearing challenges.

Now that we’ve exclaimed how awesome Auracast is, we wanted to share the positive experience hearing aided audience members like Marian Jones of Australia have had. Jones noted during her interview with the Sydney Herald that she had not been present for a live concert in years since the current sound systems weren’t equipped to provide hearing-aid users with the same experience as their counterparts. “The normal hearers who sat here today and listened to the concert probably thought, ‘Yeah, it’s pretty good’. But for someone who has hearing loss, it was just next level … live music is one of life’s greatest joys,” she said.
