In the light of schools closures during the pandemic and the announcement today by the Minister of Education that all Ontario schools will remain closed until September, we have decided to offer an extension until December 31st on Simeon warranties that were due to expire within the 2020 calendar year.
The extension applies to the basic manufacturer’s warranty, as well as Service Plus and other extended service packages on Simeon products, including those whose warranties had expired in 2020 but before the schools closures.
For systems that are covered for Summer Service under our Service Plus extended service program, we encourage customers to ship these to our service department in good time to have them fully serviced and returned to schools before September. However, we recognize the logistical barriers our customers face during the pandemic, and we will accept equipment that is eligible for ‘summer’ service at any time from now up until December 31st, 2020. We will work with our customers to ensure there is no unnecessary downtime on classroom equipment during the active school year.
