And YOU will definitely find this interesting
A special thank you to our previous colleague and now sales partner Jo-Ann Bentley of Wavefront Centre for Communication Accessibility for thorough testing of the Auracast receiver, Bettear B-RTX, Simeon Neck loop, with our newly launched Simeon Audita III!
We did some more testing last week . . . and you’ll find this interesting. We took an Auracast receiver, the Bettear B-RTX, plugged in our Simeon neck loop (SIMEON TEL-03), and connected it to the Auracast signal from the Simeon Audita III portable soundfield system. And it worked! And it sounded great. This represents another important milestone in the journey to a more accessible world for individuals with hearing loss.
Why is this important? Our Audita III is designed for medium-sized congregate spaces like libraries, retirement lounges and dining rooms, community hubs, senior centers, houses-of-worship and classrooms. These spaces are rarely built with hearing loop infrastructure, leading to challenges for individuals (i.e. millions of people) who would benefit from direct audio transmission to their hearing aids and cochlear implants. Now we have an affordable way to bridge this gap and create an inclusive space for everyone to hear and participate. Those with the latest hearing aids will simply connect to Auracast and anyone with T-coil functionality can use a personal Auracast receiver and get the same benefit.
Big shout-out to WaveFront Centre who performed the testing. Thank you WaveFront!
